This site is the result of an effort to create a comprehensive source of accurate, pre-digested, and ready-to-use material, because the information found in the forums can sometimes be contradictory or even obsolete. That is because, as a project, we have been growing and maturing, so some things that were once supposed to be cool have been found defective or unsuitable later.

Our plan is to keep this site updated with the latest stuff so you can refer to it. If you find something that does not fit or is inconsistent, please report it. If you are a full project member and know with certainty about how to fix the inconsistency, modify the documentation accordingly with correct information. No recruit should modify this site.

Any abuse of this site will not be tolerated, and abusers will be banned, not only from this site, but likely the whole project and affiliated sites.

What constitutes abuse?

• Maliciously altering information contained within this site by adding false, abusive, objectionable information; promoting piracy in any form; or deliberately deleting important stuff. You can make mistakes, we all do, but if you make one, report it immediately to avoid any further trouble.
• Using this site as a replacement of the forums will be considered a minor abuse and you will receive a warning. After 3 warnings it will be considered abusive behavior and appropriate action will be taken.
• Remember that this site and affiliate sites are constantly monitored, so sneaky business will be discovered sooner or later and will be dealt with accordingly.

Why do we have so strict rules?

I don't like to have very strict rules, but with added flexibility we are sadly introducing possible weak spots. We can easily restore the site to a previous state, so trying to abuse it would be quite pointless, but that is beside point. It is the action, not the consequences, that will not be tolerated.Every project member is considered a trusted party and is given privileges based on that trust relationship. But trust can be undone with just one action, and the leadership team won't hesitate to apply these rules.

Now the good stuff

Dont be afraid, I know for sure that the whole Xenocide Community is one of the most serious, hard working, and cool communities out there so I don't think that last paragraph will be needed. But I had to just in case.--Red Knight 21:28, 28 Jan 2005 (PST)
